Overwhelmed with Supplies

Being diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes was scary and overwhelming. Learning an entirely new way of life was a lot. Then, on top of that, all the things I now needed to carry with me just to survive throughout each day added a whole new level of stress.

When I came home from the hospital after diagnosis, I was on insulin injections with a vial and syringes, multiple times a day. Everywhere I went I had to carry my insulin and needles, plus my glucose meter, lancing device, and test strips to check my blood sugar, alcohol swabs to keep my fingers clean for testing, and some type of candy in case my blood sugar went low.

Trying to fit all this into any of the purses I had was near impossible, not only was it hard to fit, but everything was also a mess and not easy for me to access, which is extremely important. I needed a bag that fit all my new diabetes supplies and kept them well organized.

I was absolutely ecstatic when I found a company like Sugar Medical. The bags that they offer were everything I was looking for and more!  Each supply bag had its own purpose, whether it be for light carrying, cute styles, an active life or for traveling. With so many different options, it helped me figure out exactly what I needed.

Every bag I own from Sugar Medical is super cute and functional, but the biggest thing for me was how owning these bags has brought me a huge peace of mind. It has taken some of the worry out of my life living with type 1 diabetes. I know now that no matter where I go, I will have everything I need with me, perfectly organized, and protected.
