Whether you are insulin dependent or have to carry another type of temperature-sensitive medication, the FRIO Cooling Case is your answer. The FRIO is a reusable evaporative cooler. Its cooling properties come from the evaporation of water, not an ice pack or anything that needs refrigeration. Once activated, by soaking the case in water for 5-10 minutes, it keeps medications within the safe range of 64.4-78.8°F (18-26°C) for a minimum of 45 hours, even in a constant environmental temperature of 100°F. For longer periods, simply re-soak in water and you’re good for another 45 hours! The FRIO offers better convenience than an ice pack and cooler with its size and design. *The FRIO is not, and is not intended to be, a refrigerator substitute.
