These overlays are very fragile and if you make a "wrong move” removing them from their wax paper backing, the adhesive sticks to itself, making the overlay impossible to use. It has to be thrown away. Over time I’ve learned how to minimize the chances of this happening, but it’s always a possibility. As for applying these in hard to reach places (e. g. , upper arms), forget about it! It requires a helper. Dexcom makes a much better designed and easy to apply overlay for their sensors, why can’t Omnipod do the same?

Hello - I put an order in a bit over a week ago and was wondering when I can expect to receive them? Regarding ratings, although they work very effectively, they are difficult to attach to the back of my arm because they are too thin and frequently fold over and need to be discarded. A firmer or thicker pod will probably go a long way.
