Full-Time Customer Service Manager Job Opening
Sugar Medical is hiring a Customer Service Manager to provide excellent customer service and to promote this idea throughout the organization. The goal is to keep the department running in an efficient and profitable manner while increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Hours:
• Monday – Friday 8:30 am-4:30 pm; 40 hours a week
Customer Service Manager - Responsibilities:
- Customer Care Excellence: Assess customer needs and provide timely responses, troubleshooting assistance, or alternative solutions to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Problem-Solving & Quick Responses: Ability to think quickly and find solutions to customer issues, maintaining a polite, empathetic, and professional demeanor.
- Multitasking & Prioritization: Efficiently manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to ensure smooth operations within the department.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, encourage, and lead a small team of part-time Customer Service Representatives, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
- Self-Motivation & Independence: Self-driven, capable of managing tasks and goals independently.
- Creative Problem Solving: Approach challenges with a creative mindset, always looking for the best solutions.
- Customer-Focused: Ensure a customer-centric approach to all tasks, striving for positive outcomes and effective resolutions.
- Experience: Previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Phone Etiquette: Strong ability to communicate professionally and clearly over the phone.
- Independent Worker: Comfortable taking initiative and resolving tasks on your own.
- Tech-Savvy: Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead the customer service team as the primary Customer Service Representative, offering direction to 1-2 part-time Customer Service Representatives.
- Assist in packing and shipping website orders, with the support of part-time team members.
- Ability to stand for up to 2-3 hours at a time while completing order packing.
- Handle boxes up to 20 pounds, as required, for various office tasks.
- Manage customer inquiries via email and phone, providing timely and helpful responses.
- Assign tasks to part-time staff to ensure department efficiency and organization.
